If you answered "Yes!" to any of these questions, couples’ therapy could help. Many times, people don’t realize that feelings of love can be rekindled with fresh skills for communicating, different ways of seeing each other, and a renewed commitment to the relationship. Helping couples find their way back together is "my thing". There are a few rules for healthy relationships, and by following them, you may be able to be happy together again.
Your success will be directly related to how much you work outside the therapy sessions, but I give you my very best stuff right up front. My clients regularly say things like this:
"Simply put, you saved us."
"My next call was to a lawyer, but now we’re renewing our vows."
"I'd never had a successful relationship until we saw you. I know we can make this work for life."
"No one taught us how to be good partners before we met you. Now, we're teaching our friends."
Sometimes, however, despite trying everything we know, relationships don’t work. If that happens, I can help you part ways with the least possible pain and anger. Especially if there are children involved, how you break up matters so much. The end of a relationship is hard, no doubt about it, but it doesn’t have to leave lasting scars. Divorce counseling or end-of-relationship counseling can make all the difference.
I’m here to help, so call or email me for more information or to make an appointment.
